 Ok sound, iPhone 3G adapter NOT included October 10, 2008

The speaker sounds OK. The sound is a bit muddy and not crisp. The lows are not really there. But it is expected from a speaker of that size. Overall sound is not too bad for a garage, dorm room or a study. The included adapter is for the first generation iPhone and NOT for iPhone 3G. If you pull the included dock adapter out then the iPhone 3G fits and works, but feels very insecure being only supported by the connector. Altec Lansing offers the required 3G adapter on their site, for $3 including the shipping.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone that has an Iphone 3G. It delivers exactly what it advertises and the small footprint is great for tight places. The radio apps work great too. It is a MUST buy!

At first I had some trouble docking my 3G iphone until I removed the iphone adapter that came with the unit.
Bingo! No more problems, 3G works every time with out any errors or phone noise.
The sound is fantastic for a unit of this size and looks very nice, not plastic looking as were many models I considered.
It also works with the new ipod touch, same great sound.
After much shopping around, I believe the T612 is by far the best value and performance any where near it's price range out there right now.
