Cute little beautiful sensible keyboard. September 6, 2010 L. Strong This keyboard has a wonderful feel to it, has all on it which is necessary and convenient but takes up little space.
Little white charmer September 3, 2010 Guy (ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, US) If you own a Mac and want the best use of it's keys, then this is the keyboard to own. I have used many keyboards in the past, at the moment they all remain dormant and locked away in my closet space; waiting for the day a keyboard fails somewhere and arising to the challenge. I recall wanting to purchase one of these after purchasing my Macbook Pro; my previous Macmini had issues aplenty with my old Logitech Elite keyboard (circa 2003). That had been a mighty fine gaming keyboard, but I had been a keyboard whore; and I wanted, what I called the 'Godboard'; a keyboard that would rule both PC gaming as well as script and story writing. I have never truly found a keyboard that could do both task with such grace, however this little guy does a fine job for the most part. Being that I use a Mac, gaming is not part of my daily regimen as it once was years ago. On rare occasion, I will gather the courage to jump in the arena on "Quake:Live." Needless to say thought, this keyboard does the trick. I have since purchased a 25' wrist pad for use with both my keyboard and mouse, and since then, I have enjoyed it even more so. I attempted to revert back to my old Elite to see how it would compare and I have found the Apple keyboard to be the more comfortable. I feel that the lighter touch works wonders with my chubby numbs. I also realized how vital the built in USB ports on the keyboard to my everyday use. If anything, I would say try before you buy. The feel of the buttons could take some getting use to.
THE best keyboard July 10, 2010 J. Robinson This keyboard is stellar. It is the best keyboard I have ever used, and I've used a lot of them. Although I am not a MAC user, I use this keyboard for Windows 7.
It worked right off the bat; just plugged it in. You do have to download a autohotkey program to get some of the Windows and multimedia functions/buttons to work, but it is well worth it.
If this keyboard was twice the cost, I'd still buy it. It's sturdy, well constructed, has a great feel to it. Nothing like a keyboard made of aluminum. My favorite is the small size while still having good size keys. I have no use for a keypad and I love having my trackball so close to this narrower keyboard.
I do like the appearance, but if I had to change anything I would opt for black keys instead of white. I think that would look great against the aluminum frame. All in all, this will satisfy my keyboard requirement for most likely the next decade. As a matter of fact, I am going to order a second one just for backup!
PS; the keyboard is made in China (what isn't these days), but I would pay quite a bit more if it was made in the US.
The best keyboard I have ever used. May 30, 2010 Bryan K Anderson (MESQUITE, TX, US) This keyboard is so easy to use, that it's ridiculous. It is quiet, compact, ideal for secondary keyboard for docked laptops. I use this keyboard with MacOSX Snow Leopard and Windows 7, XP. Works just as well in linux. I love the way it looks and the feel is solid. The two extra usb ports are a boon too. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who uses a laptop regularly, so you will already be used to using the number keys on the top of the board. It looks great on my desktop with the laptop docked. I do not have the magic mouse, but feel these two items go together like bread and butter.
It works for PC too. May 25, 2010 Yojan Shrestha (Lake Charles, LA) Certainly you'll be missing some keys like Print Screen, Scroll Lock, Break and all that but once you install Autohotkey and configure those keys yourself you are good to go. You have to tinker with the keyboard a little and getting used to the keyboard will take some time. Other than that the keyboard feels great. Also do install Apple Keyboard driver for extra media buttons and Fn button to work.
