Works great September 7, 2010 Nathan A Wells This is the second one I've owned (the first was destroyed by my 2 toddlers). I like the portability and ease of use. Great keyboard.
Ergonomic and portable September 6, 2010 E. Meissen I love this keyboard. In a line-up of literally 50 other keyboards, I chose this one. My wrist/hands were hurting (possible carpal tunnel) and this one feels very natural for my hands to type on. It's also small, so it's very portable...and has a separate number pad! I think it's an amazing keyboard.
I did get it to work with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.04. The only problems I've had are that I sometimes have to reconnect it to Ubuntu - although it seems to be getting better. Sometimes I just have to tap on the keyboard buttons a few times and then it wakes up.
So, ergonomic, portable, comfortable, sleek, bluetooth. Great keyboard.
Superb keyboard September 1, 2010 B. Hayashi I'm enjoying this keyboard, I'm getting another one for my other laptop that I keep at home.
I've had this now for almost a year. Yes, I experience the BT lag, too, but I live with it. (Hence the 4 stars instead of 5) Would I buy it again? Well, yes...as I said, I'm buying another. One BT annoyance is that you can pair your device with only one other device.
Great layout, excellent size, superb tactile feel. One big advantage with a wireless keyboard and using a note/netbook is that you are no longer at the mercy of how high the desk/table/airline tray is--you can have the comfort (and more healthy) height of typing from your lap. I love it!
I love the slim design and the power off button--it fits great in my laptop backpack. It is so light, too. With my 2.8 lbs. Asus netbook, adding this lightweight is really nothing. And because of its size, it fits in any bag, attaché, backpack, etc. easily.
Good keyboard if you want portability and ease of use for OTG August 30, 2010 George A. Sopko (Alexandria, VA) I bought this kit to go with my HP TM2 so I can be in tablet mode and still have a real keyboard handy. The setup and use was fairly painless in Windows 7 64 bit and I have had no issues with it. The use of the keyboard is quite comfortable as it has a curvature to maintain a more natural posture. It is also quite light and thin so you can throw it into a backpack if you had to. The numeric keypad is just that, not much else to say.
I would have given five stars for usability if it had dedicated Home and End keys. Those keys are accessible via a Fn key combination but it would be difficult to strictly use the keyboard in order to highlight a whole line of text. But, it does have a mute and volume +/- keys. This is also nice to have when in tablet mode since those functions are not as easily accessed.
As far as the wake-up time is concerned I have no issues with it. It could be that for a portable device that runs off of two AAA's that I expect it to fall asleep and require some key strokes to wake it. Never the less, the lag time to wake up is just a few seconds. But, at that time my laptop is also asleep and it also needs to wake-up so it does not bother me. I have not had it fall asleep while using it or while actively using it and stepping out to do something momentarily.
Microsoft Bluetooth 6000 August 30, 2010 angel0415 This is the best keyboard I have ever used. I have one for home and one for work. It is small and portable and has a great feel to it. When you first use it, you have to give it a second to "wake up" but after that it responds great.
I Love It!
