Bought this memory to upgrade a Dell B830 laptop from 512MB to the max supported (4GB). After adjusting virtual memory and applying some registry tweaks to take full advantage of more RAM, the difference in performance was tremendous. Much less disk thrashing because the OS doens't have to keep writing to and reading from virtual memory, and multiple programs can be loaded and running with no lag. It's been said befor and I'll say it again, Memory Upgrade is the best bang for the buck upgrade you can do.
